Another Agnes Water Triathlon is complete.
A race record was reached in 2011 with 124 entries! Congratulations to all 138 participants on a fantastic effort. Fastest Male over Sprint Distance was Scott Farrell from Hervey Bay, finishing in exactly 1 hour! Fastest Female was Julia Fornerud from Mooloolaba in 1:11:31 The Corporate Teams event was won by Geoff Penny Builders, and they donated their $300 prize to Lifeline Bundaberg. Click here to view 2011 Race Results. We could not have asked for better conditions, with calm seas and sunny skies. The kids did a fantastic job in the Junior Aquathlon on Saturday afternoon. We had 24 entries, and all of the kids participated as individuals, without any team entries. Winners of the aquathlon were: Male U10 Nathan Munson from Hervey Bay Female U10 Letitia Scott from Agnes Water Male U14 Matthew Hauser from Hervey Bay Female U14 Jacqueline Smith from Frenchville. Congratulations to all of the kids for getting in and having a go on such a windy day!
